First Id like to apologize for my earlier post about comments. I thought everything was setup to accept em but it turned out the add a comment link wasnt appearing on the page. Thanks to, Don, up in the great white north for setting me straight. Took a bit of digging around to figure out why and even though I didnt really figure out why, theyre back on again. So, please feel free to post yer comments here on the blog. Theyll gather dust in the approval queue until I get around to checking but the only ones I delete are obvious spam.

So todays post is all about apologies. This one is about the lake cam. Dont know what happened this week, too mired in code development projects and the weather has been gloomy so I forgot to get out and snap the daily photo. Not that most would notice. Probably couldve just changed the dates cause the clouds have been hanging low all week.

Of course it would be nice to get the real lake cam active so the photo would be updated regularly but thats another issue. Actually, the holdup is having a protected place for it. Not only weather but things tend to grow legs around these parts...

Maybe now we can move on to the real reason for the post, updating rainfall numbers. Heres our report for the past week starting today and going backwards in inches; 0.5, 2.2, 1.2, 0.4, 0.3, 1.2 , 0.3, for a total of 6.1, Our total for the month with 1 more day to go is 30.4.

Oh yeah, this is a site about kayaking? I wrote about that already and oddly enough weve not been out since. Thats close to 2 weeks!

We are looking forward to taking Rob Tony out. Had them scheduled for Monday but it was raining and blowing. At least thats what Tony said but theyre way up on top of the ridge. It does rain and blow a lot up there. Anyways, when she called to cancel, it was pleasant enough down here at lake level. Didnt look all that rough out on the water either. No kayaking this week, yet.
